Hello Hello!!! What an amazing night that happened last night!! The Los Angeles Kings WON the Stanley Cup!! Lets just say it was a great night in the Schwartz household!! Now, I don’t claim to be the “craziest” hockey fan, but I did however marry one! Since I’ve known Dave, he has been an obsessive Hockey Fan, and I’m not even exaggerating on that one. So, when we got back together 2 years ago I was thrown back into hockey. Growing up my step dad was a HUGE Ducks fan so we would always go to Ducks games as a kid. Yes, Matt, Jennie, Jessica, Ryan, Marino and Lindsey I use to be a Ducks fan. haha After he passed away I stopped watching the games and just sort of heard about games here and there until I started working at Active. There were a lot of people there that were Kings fans and the owner had box seats so we would get to go see games ever so often and it was awesome!! I wasn’t a super fan, but I did enjoy watching Kings games FAR more then Ducks games. Sorry, but LA Games are WAY more fun to watch then Ducks Games!! Fast forward to now, Dave is such a HUGE  hockey fan that in order for me to catch up and learn the game faster and the players quicker I decided to join a Fantasy Hockey League. All of the wives and girlfriends made our own Fantasy Hockey League for the season. And let me tell you, if you want to know about a sport and learn it quickly join a Fantasy League. I am a super competitive person and not knowing a lot about the players was difficult for me when my team was losing. But, this season going to Kings games was a lot more fun then it normally is. Rooting for the players on your Fantasy team is actually a lot of fun and gets your adrenaline pumping, when they are doing good! But Dave and I were able to “bond” over something that really excites him!

Over the last couple of weeks leading up to this game our household has been an emotional roller coaster! Last night though was an AMAZING outcome to the season! I don’t think I’ve ever seen Dave that shocked while watching a sporting event! It was fun to cheer for the Kings and see them take home the cup! His good friends, Stephen, Terrance and Derrick were all at the game last night and were in awe as well! It was such a fun night last night and I am soo excited to be able to share in it with Dave! GO KINGS GO!!
